Contractor
My name is Peyton Millirons and I am the Certified Building Contractor of Gold Standard Construction & Services, Inc. Throughout my life I watched my Grandfather and Father build the company “Millirons Construction”. They are Bay County, FL natives and have been doing business for over 40 years. During that time I played baseball at the Division 1 level at the University of South Alabama where I studied Finance with a Concentration in Real Estate.
After college my Dad, Jeremy Millirons, helped me found Gold Standard Construction in July of 2021. It was not an easy transition going from baseball to construction. He made me learn construction through the trades the same way that my Papa taught him. I began my construction career as a Rough Framer. In that time we framed a 2 story 8bd/6ba duplex, a 2 story 7bd/4bath home, and a 3bd/2ba addition. After framing I moved on to painting, trim carpentry, and concrete forming.
It was not long after that I made the choice to get my Contractors license. Again, I made another transition from tradesman to Contractor. I have had to learn all of the codes, contract methods, permitting regulations, and project management skills that are necessary to run a General Contracting business.
My goal is to be the Gold Standard of construction through : Communication, Honesty and Integrity. Every construction site has its own issues but I will never let my/my company’s integrity be one of them.
Millirons Construction Company
The Millirons family has been building in Florida for 4 generations. Panama City, FL is where most of their work has been done but they have contracted all over the State of Florida from Panama City to Fort Myers. Millirons Construction has went from local framing company, General Contractor, and now Developer.
Founded by James Millirons and is now currently operated by Jeremy Millirons. The company is mostly in the business of developing single family custom homes. You can see one of the custom homes in our “Projects” tab under 101 Marlin Circle.
